Martin's Presents the 10th Annual Food Fight

Congratulations to the Hokies for winning the 10th Annual Food Fight
- the most successful Food Fight to date.

Over the ten years the Hokies vs. 'Hoos Food Fight has existed, alumni and friends of Virginia Tech and the University of Virginia have raised food and fund donations to provide over 506,000 meals for the hungry in Central Virginia through FeedMore's Central Virginia Food Bank.

Hokies win the 2014 Hokies vs.’Hoos Food Fight and tie the series at 5-5.

DONATE FOOD AND MONEY AT ALL RICHMOND AREA MARTIN’S STORES from Monday, 2/3 - Friday, 2/21
It's easy…just place your food items in the bins inside each store entrance. Each can or box of food donated = 1 point. The bins will be in Martin’s stores from Monday, 2/3 - Sunday, 2/21.

You can also make a monetary donation at any MARTIN’s cash register! $1.00 = 5 points!

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME AT THE FOOD BANK

Come help pack the Food Fight food donations into backpacks for kids! Each team earns 100 Food Fight points per volunteer!

What: Hokies vs. 'Hoos Food Fight Backpack Packing Event
When: Wed., Feb. 19th, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Where: Central Virginia Food Bank Distribution Center, 1415 Rhoadmiller Street, Richmond, VA 23220

Details: Volunteers will be assisting with FeedMore’s BackPack program in the Central Virginia Food Bank's distribution facility. Tasks are of physical nature and jobs may include sorting and packing perishable and non-perishable products, replenishing donations, assisting agency shoppers, lifting grocery bags/boxes, bending and pushing carts and other jobs as assigned by the distribution center staff. Participants must be at least 16 years of age.
